Terms of Use
The rules for using this site, and an honest statement of what it is and is not.
What this service is
Tulsa Land Surveying operates a referral service. We connect property owners with independently licensed Oklahoma Professional Land Surveyors. We are not a land surveying firm. We do not hold a surveying license or a certificate of authorization, we do not practice land surveying, and we do not offer to perform survey work.
Who performs the survey
All survey work is performed by an independently licensed professional land surveyor who holds their own Oklahoma license. Any contract for survey work is between you and that surveyor. They are solely responsible for the scope, quality, accuracy, timing and price of the work they perform, and for the professional judgments reflected in any drawing they seal.
We do not supervise, direct or control the surveyor’s professional work, and we make no warranty about it. We encourage you to verify any surveyor’s license and certificate of authorization with the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors before you hire them.
The information on this site is general
The guides and service pages here explain how land surveying generally works in Oklahoma. They are general information only. Nothing on this site is a survey, a boundary determination, a legal opinion, a title opinion, or professional advice about your specific property.
Only a licensed surveyor working your parcel can tell you where your boundary is. Only an attorney can advise you on a legal dispute. Do not rely on anything here as a substitute for either.
Accuracy
We try to keep this site accurate and current. Laws, standards, flood maps, local requirements and agency procedures all change. We do not guarantee that everything here is complete or up to date, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.
No guarantee of a match
Submitting a request does not guarantee that we will be able to match you with a surveyor, that a surveyor will accept the work, or that the work can be completed in any particular timeframe. There is no cost or obligation either way.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Oklahoma law, Tulsa Land Surveying is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this site or from work performed by a surveyor you were referred to. Our role ends at the referral.
Third party links
Where we link to outside resources such as government agencies or professional bodies, we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
